Step 1: Initial Inquiry & Personal Discovery
Begin your journey by submitting a Request for Consideration form. Our Franchise Development team will reach out to understand your goals, share more about our opportunity, and discuss initial investment details. Once you’re ready to move forward, you’ll complete a detailed application and participate in our financial review process. Step 3: Meet the Team, See the Difference
Experience the Kids ‘R’ Kids culture firsthand during Discovery Day at our Franchise Support Center in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. You’ll tour a model Learning Academy, meet leadership and your future support teams, and participate in in-depth Q&A sessions. Discovery Day is your chance to see what makes our franchise community and support unique.
What to expect:
- In-person tour of a thriving Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy
- Meet executives, trainers, and support staff
- Hands-on introduction to curriculum, operations, and company values
Step 4: Franchise Approval & Agreement
If both sides are ready to move forward, you’ll receive approval to join the Kids ‘R’ Kids family. At this stage, you’ll sign your Franchise Agreement and Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), officially starting your ownership journey.

- Signing of FDD and Franchise Agreement
- Immediate access to the site selection and development team
Step 5: Site Selection, Due Diligence & Construction
Work with our experienced real estate and operations teams to find the ideal location for your new school. We assist with market research, territory analysis, lease or land purchase negotiations, and site due diligence. Once your site is secured, we help coordinate construction, design, and all compliance matters.

Step 6: Training & Pre-Opening Marketing
Prepare for a strong launch with immersive training at the Franchise Support Center and on-site at your new school. You’ll master curriculum, business management, daily operations, and leadership. Meanwhile, our marketing team will work with you to build community awareness and drive enrollments before your doors even open.
What to expect:
- Hands-on training for you and key staff, including leadership and classroom techniques
- Ongoing education on new programs (BrainWaves®, STEAM Ahead®, etc.)
- Pre-opening marketing campaigns, digital and local outreach, launch event planning
Step 7: Grand Opening & Ongoing Support
When you open your doors, our team is right there with you, providing launch week support and long-term guidance. Your dedicated Operations Consultant, Regional Manager, and Quality Assurance team will be there for site visits, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement. Investing in a Kids ‘R’ Kids Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy can be highly rewarding due to the growing demand for quality education, the potential for positive community impact, and the lasting influence on a child’s development.
FRANCHISE DEVELOPMENT
Our Franchise Development team will guide you through all aspects of the Franchise Development process, including the presentation of your Introductory Franchise Packet, provision of your Franchise Disclosure Document, facilitation of Financing Pre-Qualification through a lender, and introduction to members of your franchise support and training teams during Discovery Day at the Franchise Support Center.
TRAINING
We have a skilled Training Team in place to teach you everything you need to know about running a successful business and educating the leaders of tomorrow. You will attend two Training sessions in the weeks leading up to your opening, and you will continue to receive ongoing training – particularly when new programs are introduced and implemented.
OPERATIONS
An assigned Operations Consultant is there to help set you up for success from a daily operations standpoint, and to provide ongoing support to ensure that your business continues to run smoothly. Having a primary contact to answer questions and provide information saves you time and effort – allowing you to stay focused on serving local families and growing your business.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Our tailored Quality Assurance Program systematically monitors and evaluates our schools to meet the high standards expected by Kids ‘R’ Kids families. Our diligent QA team travels nationwide to assist franchisees, addressing concerns before they become issues. Quality Assurance Consultants also offer support in state licensing, health protocols, and safety regulations.
EDUCATION
Kids ‘R’ Kids’ Education Specialists use experience and research to develop our exclusive curriculum, enhancing it with regular updates and supplementary programs like Brain Waves® focused on brain development and STEAM Ahead® with hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. They also create exciting new Summer Camp experiences annually.
MARKETING
The Marketing and Brand Management Department supplies our franchisees with vital information on how to market each Learning Academy through a combination of social media, digital advertising, print marketing and local community events. This department also regularly rolls out national campaigns – many of which have been recognized with awards – to secure and promote the Kids ‘R’ Kids brand at both the national and local levels.
REGIONAL MANAGERS & CONSULTANTS
The support doesn’t end once you’ve opened the doors of your new Kids ‘R’ Kids Learning Academy. Our Regional Managers and Consultants provide ongoing training and support for you and your staff throughout the course of the franchise term, as new programs are introduced and implemented on an as-needed basis.
ADMINISTRATION
The cog at the center of the wheel, our Executive and Administration Teams operate out of Kids ‘R’ Kids International, Inc. headquarters in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. While our other teams are ensuring that YOUR business runs smoothly, our Executive and Administration Teams are tasked with making sure the entire company runs smoothly.
GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Government Relations is an area we take very seriously as we represent our industry and advocate on behalf of our franchisees with State and Federal lawmakers. This department is also tasked with keeping you abreast of current and potential rules and regulations.
